Race Structure
|
|
|
Four
hours before each daily activity/challenge, teams will receive a text and/or
email indicating the GPS location and any special clues. Teams will complete the activity/challenge
and receive a special, secret code.
The
special, secret code allows teams to obtain “Asthma Tidbits” ( asthma
information) that will be used in The Asthma Knowledge Bowl, the final
challenge on October 30, 2010.
Since
The Great Asthma Race is two-weeks in length, race organizers understand that
consistent attendance might be a challenge for some participants. With this
in mind each team member is permitted 2 “tags” (substitutes). These “tags” allow each member to call on someone
to fill their spot for that activity. Each team member must select the 2 people who could be “tagged”
at registration. These individuals must be fully registered.
