three asthma education programs for people living in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. These programs are designed to help you
understand your asthma and how to keep it under control.

Visit Asthma Management Program (H-VAMP)
We are so excited about our this Home Visit Asthma Management Program
(H-VAMP) and know that our asthma community can greatly benefit from it!
Asthma Allies is the only organization that uses Certified Asthma Educators
& H-VAMP is the only one of its kind in New Mexico. People with
asthma have a chance to get the tools and education they need to control their
asthma at home!
Asthma Allies has a few spots left for H-VAMP. If you’d like to register for the program, contact Romelia at

Comprehensive
Asthma Management Program
The Comprehensive Asthma Management Program
coordinates care and education for patients with asthma. The program involves the patient’s family,
their healthcare providers, and work or school.
Patients who enroll into this program gain the
knowledge and skills necessary to manage their asthma at home, school, work or
play. There is no age requirement for
this program. Cost for the program
varies and is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Adult Asthma Education Program
Asthma Allies is partnering with Presbyterian Healthcare
Services to bring an Adult Asthma Education Program to Albuquerque. The
program consists of three sessions: the first session includes presentations by
a physician, a pharmacist and an asthma educator; the last two sessions are
one-on-one sessions with a certified asthma educator. The next program
will begin on October 23rd at the Presbyterian HealthPlex.
This program is free to anyone with asthma, 18
years old or older. Families are welcome to join the sessions.
